How is Life Coaching different from counselling or therapy?Life Coaching differs from counselling and therapy in that it has a present and future focus. Traditionally, counselling will help you understand past patterns and traumas, whereas I will work with you on the here and now, supporting you to access your own inner power using various empowering tools and techniques, thereby allowing you to flourish in a brighter, better future

How can I recieve my Life Coaching sessions?Since the onset of Covid 19, most of my coaching has taken place online or via Zoom, Teams or similar. Many of my clients prefer this appraoch as the sessions can take place from the comfort of your own home (or whereever is quiet and convenient) eliminating the need to travel. However, with the relaxation of restrictions I am happy to offer face to face coaching, covering the Surrey areas of East and West Molesey, Hampton Court, Esher, Thames Ditton, Walton on Thames, Weybridge, Kingston and Surbiton.

What do I do if I feel we don't click?A coaching relationship needs to be built on respect, trust and authenticity, allowing you to be open and honest about your thoughts and feelings to help facilitate you moving forward towards the person you want to be. I offer a 30 minute 'Discovery' call so we can discuss what you are looking to achieve from Life Coaching and how I can help you. If after the call you dont feel we are a good fit, there is no futher commitment. You feeling comfortable, relaxed and able to engage is key to the success of coaching. If you would like to proceed with one of my packakges, I encourage regular feedback from you to ensure you are getting what you want and need from our sessions.

How much time do I need to commit to coaching?I firmly believe that what you get out of coaching equates to what you put in. I will often set you 'out of session' work, to encourage you to reflect on yourself and your world view, boost your wellbeing and practice strategies that we have discussed in our sessions together. You are on a transformational journey with short and long term goals to achieve, and sometimes it won't be easy. It's completely up to you whether you chose to do any out of session work, but I would urge you to remember that you are ultimately accountable to yourself.
-
Can I have a one-off session? In order to make real change and to experience the full benefits of coaching you really need more than a one hour session. I offer a two hour 'deep dive' session to help you on your transformational journey. Following this session, you will be equipped with strategies and an action plan to work towards your goals independently, or you may chose to have further coaching sessions with me so that I can support you on your journey.
-
Can you help me if I can't afford coaching? If you feel that coaching is inaccessable to you, please do contact me as I am occasionally able to offer coaching at a reduced cost.
